Staff Nurse – Pre-Assessment (Bank Ad-Hoc, Part Time)

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. The role includes weekend work and offers up to £25.00 per hour

As part of the Pre‑Assessment team you will be the first point of contact for patients before surgery, working within a matron‑led, consultant‑led service. Your duties include:

• Delivering close‑knit, matron‑led care in a consultant‑led service.
• Working with leading talent and professionals to make appropriate patient assessments before surgery.
• Demonstrating a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care.
• Understanding and supporting the needs of each patient and their family.
• Offering comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care.
• Building experience across new practices, equipment and facilities.
• Collaborating with practitioners in other areas to ensure continuity of patient care.

Registered with the appropriate governing body (e.g., NMC) and possessing the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration. Post‑registration experience and a team‑oriented approach with a passion for exceptional patient care are required.
