Overview
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs and long‑term conditions. You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health, leading shifts, supporting and guiding the care team, making informed clinical decisions and responding promptly to changing needs.
You will ensure safe, effective and person‑centred care at all times, working closely with residents, families and other healthcare professionals to maintain high standards, accurate documentation and a supportive environment that prioritises dignity, independence and wellbeing.
- Assess needs and develop care plans for residents.
- Administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health.
- Lead shifts, support and guide the care team.
- Make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain a supportive environment.
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN.
- Strong clinical judgement and decision‑making skills.
- Confidence leading shifts and supporting a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in complex care or mental health is beneficial; we welcome nurses from a range of backgrounds who are keen to develop within this environment.
- £23.80 per hour.
- Flexible zero‑hour contract with paid breaks.
- Paid DBS, pension and uniform provided.
- Ongoing training, clinical updates and funded development, with clear progression into senior, clinical lead and management roles.
