This Advanced Clinical Practitioner role sits within the Leeds Institute of Emergency Surgery at St Jamess Hospital, part of Leeds Teaching Hospitals, one of the largest acute Trusts in the UK. You will be at the forefront of emergency surgical care, assessing and managing patients with acute presentations, formulating clinical decisions, and delivering safe, personalised care. Working as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in patient flow and service delivery across the Surgical Division, while also contributing to audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives that shape and enhance our services.

We are looking for a motivated ACP with a completed MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and a strong background in surgical care, who is confident, organised, and able to work autonomously within a fast‑paced environment. You will bring excellent clinical reasoning, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and influence nursing, medical, and surgical colleagues.
