Job Summary
Job Summary The post holder will have to demonstrate they can work in a team, flexible attitude to working within a large acute hospital trust, have excellent communication skills and understand differences in hospital and primary care settings. Knowledge and understanding of high‑risk patients including diabetic foot is essential. This includes diabetic wound care and its management. The successful candidate would be supported by AHP colleagues including options around mentorship and clinical supervision.
You will be able to develop your skills and knowledge further by utilising the multidisciplinary teams and the podiatry team they will be working in. A desire to improve is essential whilst working in the hospital podiatry team.

Job descriptionWhat you will bring to the role
- You are a HCPC registered Podiatrist able to deliver comprehensive podiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a varied and often complex caseload, including patients with high‑risk and diabetes related foot complications.
- You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, with an understanding of multidisciplinary working.
- You will bring a flexible approach to working within a busy service and be able to adapt to changing clinical demands.
- You will demonstrate a commitment to Continuing Professional Development, with a desire to develop your clinical skills and knowledge in order to enhance your practice and achieve your full professional potential.
