ODP​/Anaesthetic Nurse

Our unit is a dedicated day surgery service within the Dental Institute, comprising of a ward area for pre and post operative care, Anaesthetic room, theatre, recovery room and pre-assessment office We are a small but welcoming and supportive multidisciplinary team comprising of ODPs, Registered Nurses, Dental Nurses, Support workers and administrative colleagues. We work closely with other departments across the LDI and the wider LGI theatre teams.

Every day brings variety with different surgical lists and patient groups. We also have dedicated paediatric operating lists twice a week, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your confidence and experience caring for children as well as adults. We are committed to supporting our staff to develop both personally and professionally and training and ongoing support will be provided. There are also opportunities to learn new skills, undertake projects and take on additional responsibilities such as staff champion and key trainer roles

There is always cakes and goodies to help through the day., We are seeking a highly motivated and Compassionate ODP/Anaesthetic Nurse to join our friendly and dedicated small team within the One Day Unit Theatres at Leeds Dental Institute You will become part of a supportive, collaborative multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality perioperative care to patients undergoing day case oral surgery procedures.

supporting first stage recovery and working within the ward area from admission through to discharge The One Day Unit is a dedicated Day Surgery service situated within the Leeds Dental Institute.
