Overview of roleWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented QA Manager to join our pivotal role. You'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of large-scale complex programmes that involve multiple interconnected projects. You'll work closely with other QA managers and various project teams to ensure consistency, identify cross-project risks and support a unified approach to quality. The ideal candidate has QA management skills and is eager to grow their experience in a strategic programme-focused QA environment within the gambling industry.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: coordinate testing activities across multiple project teams within a programme, ensuring a consistent approach and alignment with overall quality goals.
- People Management: manage a small team of QA Engineers to deliver end‑to‑end (E2E) testing across platforms.
- Test Execution: plan schedule and oversee end‑to‑end tests to ensure that different components of the programme work together seamlessly.
- Risk Identification: identify and escalated quality‑related risks and dependencies that span across multiple projects, helping to proactively prevent issues.
- Process Adherence: ensure all project teams adhere to the established programme QA standards, methodologies and processes.
- Reporting: prepare and present regular status reports on testing progress, defect trends and quality metrics to the Head of QA and other stakeholders.
- Defect Management: act as a central point of contact for defect management across the programme ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Collaboration:
work collaboratively with developers, project managers and product owners to ensure quality is a shared responsibility from start to finish.
- Experience:
Proven experience (3 years) in a QA manager role with a strong background in testing complex systems or large‑scale projects, preferably within online gaming or a regulated tech environment. - Technical
Skills:
Expertise in API testing and proficiency in tools such as Postman, SoapUI, cURL, etc. Some experience developing automated tests with tools such as Cypress, Python, Selenium and / or others. - System Integration: A clear understanding of how different software systems and APIs interact and the challenges involved in testing integrated solutions.
- Analytical Mindset:
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with an ability to see the bigger picture and identify dependencies between projects. - Communication:
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to effectively coordinate with multiple teams and report on progress. - Attention to Detail:
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality bug‑free products. - Adaptability:
The ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and manage competing priorities.
