Billion pa turnover, globally renowned Scientific Games Corporation. Our purpose-built, state-of-the-art printing facility in Leeds supplies lottery scratch cards to clients in the UK and Europe.

Our printing operation has recently been upgraded with a brand new 20 unit, in-line flexographic press capable of printing 700mm wide at a rate of 300 metres per minute. This investment allows us to significantly expand our Leeds operation and serve more customers than ever before.

We currently have a vacancy for a QA Technician in our Quality team. The purpose of this role is to maintain ongoing compliance and improvement activities in relation to all aspects of the Quality Management System.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain and control the Calibration system.
  • Produce customer test reports (C of A, C of C, etc.).
  • Investigate incidents reported internally and externally (customer complaints) and, based on findings, instigate appropriate improvement plans (continuous improvement).
  • Carry out internal and external (supplier) audits, give appropriate feedback and assist departments and subsidiaries in implementing improvement plans.
  • Input test results and findings into databases and spreadsheets.
  • Maintain and control testing databases and test equipment.
  • Provide test equipment support for Quality Control and Manufacturing departments.
  • Ensure quality‑related documentation is maintained and reviewed regularly.
  • Prepare customer test samples and liaise with independent testing laboratories.
  • Carry out testing on trial products and produce documented reports.
  • Perform measurement system analysis on processes, machines, and measuring/test equipment.
  • Carry out a variety of product testing, when required.
  • Deliver training for quality and manufacturing personnel, when required.
Qualifications
  • Experience working within a quality department in a high‑volume manufacturer.
  • Experience using quality testing techniques.
  • Experience analysing data and producing reports.
  • Understanding of calibration and quality investigation processes.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office).
  • Exceptional organisational skills and methodical approach.
  • High degree of flexibility and adaptability, with capacity to undertake additional responsibilities and emerging tasks to support changing operational needs.
  • Effective and collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience conducting audits is desirable.
  • Recognised quality qualification is desirable.

    Knowledge of print process and practices is desirable.
Benefits

Competitive salary of £33,000 per annum and generous annual leave entitlement of 26 days plus bank holidays. Pension scheme with a company match of 6% of pensionable salary.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Experience

2 to 5 years of related experience.

Physical Requirements

The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, use hands, operate a computer and have specific vision abilities. The employee must frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Personal protective equipment is required when working in the field, production or warehouse.
