Position Summary
The position is a Quality Technician in the Quality team at Scientific Games International Ltd, supporting the Leeds printing facility’s operations.
Duties- Developing, maintaining, and controlling the Calibration system
- Produce Customer test reports (C of A, C of C, etc.)
- Investigating incidents reported both internally and externally (Customer complaints) and based upon the findings instigate the appropriate improvement plans (Continuous Improvement)
- Carrying out internal and external (supplier) audits, giving appropriate feedback and assisting departments and other subsidiaries with putting improvement plans into place.
- Input of test results and findings into databases and spreadsheets
- Maintenance and control of Testing databases and Test Equipment
- Provide test equipment support for Quality Control and Manufacturing departments
- Ensuring Quality related documentation is maintained and reviewed regularly
- Prepare customer test samples and liaise with Independent Testing Laboratories
- Carry out testing on trial products and produce documented reports
- Perform Measurement System Analysis on processes, machines, and measuring/test equipment.
- Carry out a variety of product testing, when required.
- Delivering training for Quality and Manufacturing personnel, when required.
- Experience of working within a quality department in a high-volume manufacturer
- Experience of using Quality testing techniques
- Experience of analysing data and producing reports
- Understanding of Calibration and Quality investigation processes
- IT literate (MS Office)
- Exceptional organisation skills, along with being methodical in your approach
- High degree of flexibility and adaptability, with the capacity to undertake additional responsibilities and emerging tasks to support changing operational needs
- Effective and collaborative team player with strong communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience of conducting audits is desirable
- Recognised Quality qualification is desirable
- Knowledge of print process and practices is desirable
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 2 to 5 years of related experience
- Competitive salary of £33,000 per annum
- Generous annual leave entitlement of 26 days per year plus bank holidays
- Pension scheme with a company match of 6% of pensionable salary

Physical RequirementsThe role requires regularly sitting, standing, walking, bending, using hands, operating a computer, and specific vision abilities (close and distance). Frequent lifting of up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. If required to work in the field, production, and/or warehouse, use of approved Personal Protective Equipment is mandatory.
