You’ll be working at our Leeds facility, one of our flagship pump manufacturing centres, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring every pump package leaves our site meeting the highest standards of quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Lead final inspection activities for complete pump packages and rotating equipment.
- Coordinate the final assembly verification process before customer dispatch.
- Review and approve final manufacturing records and quality documentation.
- Ensure products comply with ISO 9001 standards and internal quality requirements.
- Verify that all customer specifications, technical requirements and contractual obligations have been fulfilled.
- Oversee and sign off complete pump packages and bedshaft assemblies.
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Project Management and Quality teams to resolve issues and ensure on‑time delivery.
- Support customer inspections and witness activities where required.
- Drive a culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement across the operation.
- Experience with in heavy engineering, rotating equipment, pumps, turbines, motors or similar manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of final inspection, quality assurance and documentation control processes.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and manufacturing documentation.
- Experience coordinating inspections involving large, complex engineered products.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach with the confidence to make critical quality decisions.
