Position Summary
Scientific Games is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to work within the Security Quality testing Lab on a continental shift pattern. Full consideration will be given to candidates interested in part‑time or job share roles.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of tests on printed products to ensure they meet required quality and security standards.
- Use a wide range of testing equipment to conduct standard tests within required timescales.
- Input results into the computer database and produce reports.
- Provide feedback on test results to the Press team.
- Clean, maintain, and inspect Lab equipment.
- Experience working within a quality testing department in a high‑volume, fast‑moving manufacturing environment.
- Experience with quality testing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and make important decisions.
- Positive attitude and drive to see activities through to completion.
- Effective teamwork skills.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Confident communicator with exceptional communication skills at all business levels.
- IT literacy (MS Office).
Full‑time:
Continental Shift pattern, 12‑hour shifts on weekends and nights, average 39 hours per week.
Part‑time: 12‑hour day shifts, including weekends, average 19.5 hours per week. Overtime, holiday cover, sickness cover, and standard overtime shifts are expected.
£33,827.10 per annum (full‑time) / £16,913.54 per annum (part‑time). Includes generous annual leave entitlement, a pension scheme with a 6% company match, and free onsite car parking.
Screening RequirementsDue to the highly secure nature of our business, any job offer will be subject to the following screening: drugs screening test, receipt of references, satisfactory Criminal Records Bureau check, and satisfactory credit history check. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is required before any offer is made.
