Job Title Associate - Valuation Advisory Job Description Summary tbc Job Description The Opportunity An opportunity has arisen to join the Valuation Advisory team at Cushman & Wakefield, based in Leeds. We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Associate to join our growing valuation team. This role is suited to an MRICS-qualified surveyor with strong commercial valuation experience who is looking to take the next step in their career within a leading global real estate advisory business.

The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering high-quality valuation advice to a broad client base including lenders, investors, developers and property companies. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of valuation instructions, develop client relationships and work closely with experienced valuation professionals and colleagues across the wider business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Surveyor or Senior Surveyor looking to progress into an Associate position, or an existing Associate seeking a new challenge within a growing regional team.

Undertake and manage valuations for a variety of purposes, including:

• Secured lending
• Financial reporting
• Acquisitions and disposals
• Portfolio analysis
• Strategic advisory assignments

• Take responsibility for delivering valuation instructions from initial engagement through to completion, with appropriate senior oversight.
• Carry out property inspections and prepare high-quality valuation reports in accordance with RICS Red Book standards.
• Provide valuation and advisory services across a broad range of commercial property assets.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and excellent service delivery.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients on day-to-day valuation matters.
• Work closely with colleagues across agency, capital markets, lease advisory and valuation teams nationally to provide coordinated client advice.
• Develop strong market knowledge and provide insight into market trends, transactions and valuation movements.
• Support senior colleagues and Partners with business development, client pitches and the identification of new opportunities.
• Contribute to the development of junior team members and share technical and market knowledge across the team.
• Ensure all work is delivered to a high professional and quality standard, in line with internal risk and compliance procedures.

• MRICS qualified, ideally with RICS Registered Valuer status.
• Relevant experience within commercial property valuation, ideally at Surveyor/Senior Surveyor or Associate level.
• Strong experience preparing valuation reports for secured lending, financial reporting and advisory purposes.
• Good understanding of commercial property investment markets and valuation methodologies.
• Strong analytical, numerical, organisational and report-writing skills.
• Commercial awareness with confidence in client-facing situations.
• Proven ability to manage valuation instructions and workloads effectively, working both independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to business development and contributing to the continued growth of the team.
• Full UK driving licence required.
