Job Description & How to Apply Below

Can you provide bioinformatics support to research projects? Do you have a strong interest in brain tumour research and a working knowledge of python and R? Are you able to analyse spatial transcriptomics data and aid in its interpretation?

A short-term post has become available in the Glioma Genomics group, suitable for a candidate with bioinformatics expertise and an understanding of, and experience working with, brain cancer spatial transcriptomics and single cell expression data. This role will provide dedicated computational biology support for the analysis of a large-scale spatial transcriptomics dataset generated from longitudinal glioblastoma (GBM) samples. The postholder will refine and apply analytical pipelines to enable high-resolution cell typing, spatial mapping, and intercellular interaction analysis, supporting biomarker discovery and patient stratification.

This role directly delivers the analytical objectives, working under neuropathology guidance to integrate molecular data with tissue context.
