Hours:

12 hours across 3 days per week.

Pay: £10.10 – £12.31 per hour (depending on age).

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Seacroft, West Yorkshire. This permanent part‑time position works a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days per week, including weekends.

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello
• Help customers find the items they are looking for
• Give fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank‑you and goodbye
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
• Enjoy being busy; able to jump between deliveries, till, floor, cleaning and stock rotation
• Reliable; essential to a small team and dependable on each shift
• Flexible with shifts; able to cover for teammates, with roster planned three weeks in advance

Many staff start as part‑time retail assistants and progress to Shop and Area Manager positions from within. Training programmes and promotion pathways exist for motivated team members.
