About The Role
Arco has a fantastic opportunity for a part‑time Branch Sales Advisor to join our Leeds store. You will deliver high levels of customer service, actively drive sales activity, improve customer loyalty and grow Arcos profitability. This part‑time position is 20 hours a week over five days (Monday 09:00‑13:00, Tuesday 09:00‑13:00, Thursday 09:00‑13:00, Friday 09:00‑14:00, Saturday 09:00‑12:00). If you are new to the health and safety industry or personal protective equipment (PPE), we will teach you all you need to know and give you the platform to learn, develop and grow.
Key Responsibilities- Providing high levels of customer service and building strong customer relationships
- Supporting opening accounts, providing quotations and managing customer accounts
- Driving sales through customer calling, leaflet distribution and other sales activity
- Managing cash in line with company policies and procedures, including cashing up, processing refunds and supporting banking collection
- Following merchandising principles, including pricing, campaign set‑ups and ensuring product displays are well maintained
- Assisting with stock control, including processing deliveries, click‑and‑collect and actioning weekly stock counts
- Supporting Branch operations including stock preparation, stock management and restocking of customer sites where required
- Complying with and advocating for Health & Safety and Security at all times
- A starting salary of £12.60 per hour plus bonus
- 32 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays

- Experience of working face‑to‑face with customers, preferably in a retail environment
- Experience of sales, either over the phone or face‑to‑face
- Strong IT skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. and the ability to learn new software
- UK driving licence is advantageous but not a necessity for this role
