Retail Assistant – Part Time, Evenings & Weekends

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Armley, Leeds. We offer a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 12 hours worked over 3 days each week, including weekends.

Please note that this position will require you to be available for shifts on weekday evenings and all day on Saturday and Sunday. This may not be suitable if you are not available to work at these times.

• Pay: £10.95–£12.81 per hour.

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and a simple hello.
• Help customers find the items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto our shelves ready for customers to buy.
• Work with the rest of your team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy.

• A friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy with a variety of tasks, from deliveries to till service, customer assistance, cleaning, and stock rotation.
• Reliability, as you will be an important part of a small team that depends on you to perform at each shift.
• Some flexibility with shifts, as rota’s are planned three weeks in advance and other members’ commitments are considered.
