Sales Assistant

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service at all times, prioritising customers over task and delivering a great shopping experience.
• Process sales transactions accurately, securely and efficiently through till points and actively promote add-ons by engaging effectively with customers.
• Safely handle deliveries to store and maintain stock room areas.
• Maintain merchandising of toys to company standards.
• Work in your designated Tesco space as required.

• Confident and approachable; hardworking and ambitious; caring and passionate.
• Willingness to work 4-hour shifts over 3 days on a 12-hour contract, with flexibility to operate across store trading hours, including evenings, weekends and peak periods.
• Age-based pay: 16–20 years £11.15 per hour; 21 years and over £12.71 per hour.
• Stores are open 7 days a week; ability to work according to store trading hours and shift patterns.
