Full time on site position. Retail Sales Assistant - Keyholder 12‑hour contract at The Works Stores Ltd in Leeds, ENG, GB.

We inspire reading, learning, creativity and play. As a Sales Assistant, you are the face of our brand on the shop floor and a true brand ambassador.

• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable and efficient service to every customer.
• Maintain excellent store standards including merchandising, cleanliness and stock replenishment.
• Operate tills accurately and handle transactions with care.
• Support deliveries, organise the stockroom and ensure product availability.
• Follow all operational procedures, health & safety and loss prevention.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet store targets and KPIs.
• Stay informed about promotions, products and services to help customers make informed choices.

• Open and close the store securely.
• Cash up and handle cash responsibly.
• Carry out basic supervisory responsibilities when a manager is not present.

• A passion for delivering great customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A team player with a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible to work varied shifts.
• Comfortable using tills and handling cash.
• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• For Keyholders: experience with store opening/closing and basic supervisory responsibilities.
