Area to be covered:
Midlands & North (to the Scottish border). Remuneration: £45,000 – £50,000 + uncapped commission giving OTE £70,000+. Benefits: £250 car allowance & comprehensive benefits package.

The role of the Business Development Manager Structural Insulated Panels will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a high‑quality manufactured range of structural insulated panels.
  • Focusing on selling to architects, medium house builders, developers, local authorities and smaller self‑builders.
  • Generating specifications and following projects through to completion with contractors and developers.
  • Building new business relationships and targeting a turnover of approximately £2.5 million once up and running.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Construction sales experience selling off‑site manufacturing solutions or timber frame systems or structural roofing systems / insulated panels.
  • Experience selling to house builders, developers, local authorities and smaller residential self‑builders.
  • Spec / contractor selling experience and in‑depth knowledge of the structural systems used in design and building a house.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, tenacious, self‑motivated, intelligent and a strong focus on customer service.
