Industrial Sales Executive

About This Role

Are you an experienced Industrial Sales Executive, Business Development Manager or Area Sales Manager looking for your next challenge in the municipal and industrial equipment space? As our Industrial Sales Executive within Dawsongroup EMC, you will take ownership of growing rental and sales opportunities across the North, working with municipal, warehouse and industrial customers to maximise utilisation of our specialist fleet.

You will be out in the field building relationships, identifying opportunities and securing both short and long term rental agreements across our road sweepers, refuse vehicles, tankers and industrial cleaning equipment range.

• Proactively identify and secure new rental and sales opportunities within the municipal and warehouse sectors.
• Build strong relationships with decision makers, winning business through tenders, site surveys and direct sales.
• Work closely with Area Sales Executives and Branch Sales Managers to maximise fleet utilisation.
• Follow up enquiries, manage your pipeline and maintain accurate sales records.
• Spot opportunities to sell second hand equipment and negotiate effectively.

You are commercially minded, proactive and confident speaking to senior stakeholders. Whether your background is in municipal equipment, industrial machinery, construction plant, commercial vehicles or another B2B rental environment, you understand how to build trust and close deals.

• Experience in field based B2B sales, ideally within asset rental, municipal or industrial sectors.
• Comfortable managing your own territory and generating leads through research and networking.
• Confident navigating tenders and structured procurement processes.
• Strong relationship builder who enjoys being customer facing.
• Organised and able to manage follow ups and reporting accurately.
