North, Scotland, Ireland & Scandinavia (ideally based North / Scotland). Occasionally travel to Scandinavia once a quarter or less.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: £35,000 – £40,000
  • Commission: circa £14,000
  • Car allowance: £6,000
  • Full benefits package
Responsibilities
  • Field sales role selling a high-quality manufactured range of furniture, predominantly solutions for the education sector.
  • Engage with dealers, large education furniture manufacturers, LEAs, MATs, schools, colleges, and universities.
  • Problem‑solve, resolve conflicts, and provide solutions to customers’ needs.
  • Manage existing accounts while pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Handle order values ranging from £3k to £150k, with an average order size of £3k–£6k.
  • Inherit and develop a portfolio currently generating approximately £1m in revenue.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record in field sales, selling into furniture dealers or the education sector via schools, colleges, universities, LEAs, and MATs.
  • Ideally familiar with furniture products such as lockers, stages, tables, and chairs (other product backgrounds with strong route‑to‑market experience will also be considered).
  • Highly motivated, self‑starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, time‑management, and customer‑service skills.
  • Focused, proactive, and able to prioritize effectively.
