An established and growing interior design business is seeking an Internal Account Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to step into a role within a supportive and ambitious team environment.
OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Account Manager to join our growing team. This is a client‑facing role responsible for managing and developing existing customer accounts, building long-term relationships, and identifying opportunities to grow revenue within the business. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring excellent service delivery while supporting sales growth through product focuses, upselling, and cross‑selling activities.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Manage customer accounts and identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Prepare quotations, contracts, and sales reports
- Coordinate with external sales teams, customer service, and operations departments
- Monitor account performance and customer satisfaction levels
- Maintain accurate customer records using Pipedrive CRM
- Identify opportunities to increase account value and customer retention
- Support the wider sales team in achieving business targets
- Previous experience in account management, sales, or customer relationship roles
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities
- Experience using CRM systems, ideally Pipedrive
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask effectively
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem‑solving
- Strong attention to detail and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary: £35,000 plus company sales bonus
