About This Role

As a Solutions Engineer at Ashby, you will partner closely with German‑fluent Account Executives to secure technical and commercial wins with DACH customers. Your mission is to demonstrate how Ashby’s platform can transform how they hire, by developing deep product expertise, understanding competitor offerings and the challenges faced by Talent Acquisition teams.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized product demonstrations, facilitate well‑structured product trials, and coordinate comprehensive RFP responses.
  • Use discovery skills, customer empathy and product knowledge to articulate Ashby’s transformative impact.
  • Help win new marquee accounts by addressing nuanced and detailed requirements to maintain deal momentum.
  • Build and refine demo environments to showcase product capabilities.
  • Design repeatable processes that make the Solutions Engineering team efficient as the business scales.
Qualifications
  • Sold to multiple regions within EMEA with strong written and verbal fluency in English and German.
  • Experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Consultant supporting complex, multi‑stakeholder SaaS sales cycles in a team‑selling motion.
  • High degree of empathy for HR or Talent teams, understanding their day‑to‑day pain points.
  • Deep product expertise across a suite of solutions and regarded as a subject‑matter expert by peers.
  • Rapid learning ability, connecting new concepts and product capabilities with business outcomes.
  • Mastery of clear communication, precise questioning and simplifying complex concepts.
  • A builder mindset, enjoying digging into problems and creating unique solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficient at creating and delivering tailored demos that adapt on the fly to customer questions.
  • Proactive engagement with Account Executives to move deals toward a commercial win.
  • Partner with the product organization to translate customer feedback into product enhancements.
Bonus Points For
  • Familiarity with recruiting workflows and data in Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Demo infrastructure or demo engineering experience.
  • Value engineering or consulting experience building bespoke, quantifiable business cases.

Compensation Range: €130,000 - €198,688
