Internal Sales Executive – Insulation & Dry-lining

Job Summary:

This internal sales position focuses on selling a manufactured range of insulation and dry-lining products to contractors, sub-contractors and other construction customers across the building, fire protection and associated sectors. The role requires a 50/50 split between new business development and account management, collaboration with the external sales team to generate new opportunities, processing orders, providing excellent customer service, and supporting branch sales targets through quotations and follow‑ups.

Responsibilities
  • Sell a manufactured range of insulation & dry-lining products to relevant construction customers.
  • Develop new business while managing existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with the external sales team to generate new sales opportunities and maximise sales across their territories.
  • Process orders and handle enquiries, delivering excellent customer service.
  • Generate quotations and follow up on outstanding opportunities to convert enquiries into sales.
  • Maintain accurate customer information in the internal CRM system.
  • Support branch sales targets through active opportunity management.
Qualifications
  • Sales experience within the construction sector.
  • Preferably background as a distributor or merchant.
  • Experience in the insulation or dry-lining sector is an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office).
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building.
  • Account development skills.
