Internal Sales

We’re recruiting an experienced Internal Sales Account Manager to join a well-established and successful business supplying specialist materials to the engineering and manufacturing sectors
.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded salesperson who enjoys building customer relationships, developing accounts and identifying new business opportunities
.

Working within a busy internal sales team, you’ll manage and develop a portfolio of customers while proactively looking for opportunities to increase sales.

• Managing and developing existing customer accounts
• Handling incoming sales enquiries by telephone and email
• Preparing quotations and converting enquiries into orders
• Proactively contacting existing, lapsed and prospective customers
• Identifying opportunities to increase account spend
• Negotiating pricing while maintaining strong commercial margins
• Building long-term relationships with customers
• Working closely with purchasing, operations and warehouse teams
• Developing strong product and market knowledge

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous internal sales, account management or B2B sales experience
• A confident and proactive approach to customer development
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced sales environment
• A positive, team-focused attitude

Experience with in engineering, manufacturing, industrial supplies or technical distribution would be particularly advantageous but not essential.
