About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Telesales Executive to join a growing private-funded upskilling provider based in Leeds City Centre.

This is a high-volume outbound calling role, where you will be speaking with people who have already expressed an interest in training and upskilling opportunities.

Your role will be focused on contacting enquiries, understanding their requirements, completing the relevant CRM and vetting process, and encouraging suitable candidates to enrol onto the programme. You will then arrange and invite successful applicants to attend induction days.

This is a target-driven environment where you will need to be confident making a high volume of calls every day and comfortable having sales-focused conversations with a wide range of people.

Key Responsibilities

Making a high volume of outbound calls to people who have enquired about training opportunities

Following up warm leads and converting enquiries into enrolments

Speaking confidently with potential learners to understand their circumstances and requirements

Guiding candidates through the enrolment and vetting process

Accurately updating and maintaining information on the CRM system

Completing required eligibility and vetting checks

Booking suitable candidates onto induction days

Following up outstanding enquiries and applications

Working towards individual and team targets

Providing a professional and engaging customer experience throughout the process

Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all required information is completed correctly

About You

We are looking for someone who is confident, driven and comfortable working in a high-volume telephone environment.

You will ideally have previous experience within:

Telesales

Call centres

Outbound sales

Business Development

B2B or B2C sales

Lead generation

Customer service with a strong outbound calling element

Recruitment or similar telephone-based environments

You must be comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls every day and have the confidence to engage with people over the telephone, overcome objections and progress conversations towards a positive outcome.

Experience using CRM systems is highly desirable, along with strong administration skills and excellent attention to detail.

Requirements

Previous experience in a high-volume outbound calling or sales environment

Confident telephone manner

Target-driven and motivated by results

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Good IT and CRM skills

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, fully office-based environment

Successful applicants will be required to complete a DBS check
