Relief Security Officer

CIS Security has an exciting opportunity available for a Security Response Officer who will be an ambassador to represent CIS Security by demonstrating and delivering high‑quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users at a revitalised urban space blending historic charm with modern development, featuring high‑spec office spaces and landscaped public areas.

• SIA licence required
• Security and customer service experience required
• Good command of the English language
• Good levels of customer service, written and verbal communication at all times
• Patrols, camera monitoring and access control experience – essential
• Physically fit to complete internal and external patrols, able to stand and walk during shift
• Flexible approach to daily duties and additional events on site
• Maintain working knowledge of assigned locations and their security and safety requirements
• First Aid qualification and CCTV SIA Licence desirable
• Must have five years of checkable work history

• Demonstrate and deliver high‑quality guarding and customer service to clients and service users
• Work both in a team and independently, proactively thinking on the spot and using initiative
• Remain calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations professionally
• Physically fit to complete internal and external patrols, standing and walking during shift
• Write incident and shift reports accurately
• Maintain a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour with open and appropriate body language
• Ensure visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing exceptional customer service and exceeding expectations
• Conduct opening and closing procedures, patrolling, gatehouse duties, reception duties, access control, answering telephone calls and executing emergency procedures
