Join M&S as a Security Officer, where you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and secure environment for our customers and colleagues. • Operate in a fast‑paced retail environment, staying alert, responsive and ready to step in when needed.
• Create a welcoming store environment, greeting customers and providing professional support.
• Help keep stores safe and secure – prevent loss, respond to incidents, identify risks and support safe ways of working.
• Use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body‑worn cameras.
• Stay calm under pressure and act professionally in challenging situations or during emergencies.
• Work closely with store colleagues to maintain high standards, support operations and create a positive environment.
• Adapt quickly to changing situations to support the store when needed.

• Previous security experience is preferred.
• A valid SIA licence is desirable, although not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A calm, confident and professional approach.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
• A genuine passion for customer service and keeping people safe.

All candidates must be able to provide a 5‑year checkable work history within the UK.
