Security Officer; XN

This is an exciting opportunity to Join the Security team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT) and to provide shift cover at LCC offices within Merrion House Leeds City Centre. The security team respond to reports across the site, providing vital support to LCC staff to ensure all areas are kept safe, so LCC teams can deliver excellent services to their customers.

Youll help to ensure the building and departments are locked and secure, respond to fire calls and support in resolving conflict between different individuals. As such, you will provide a calm and reassuring presence to staff and visitors at all times. Our skilled security team are a very important factor in keeping the building running safely and effectively. This will be a fixed term full-time position giving the successful candidates the chance to gain additional experience, keep your skills up to date, develop new skills, Candidates must have a valid SIA Door Supervisor Badge.

Successful candidates will work alongside our award-winning Security team across a variety of locations in Leeds.

This is a challenging but rewarding role protecting staff, visitors and patients as well as property. Responding to fire calls, locking and unlocking duties and assisting to resolve disputes between individuals in a calm and professional manner.

This is a demanding and physical role and there is a requirement to wear body armour at all times when on duty.
