A leading facilities management and construction company is seeking a qualified Plumber to join their team in Leeds on a permanent basis. Established for over 20 years, the company operates across the North of England, delivering services to both domestic and commercial clients. They are looking for a candidate with unvented hot water training and proven experience working within domestic properties.
Responsibilities- Assess plumbing systems to diagnose faults and identify required remedial actions.
- Install and replace unvented hot water cylinders in domestic properties.
- Ensure all safety devices (pressure/temperature relief, discharge pipework) meet Part G3 regulations.
- Commission and test unvented systems to confirm safe operation.
- Service and maintain unvented hot water systems in homes.
- Certify compliance with Building Regulations or notify Building Control where required.
- Complete both reactive and planned plumbing works, including repairing leaks, replacing taps, and maintaining sanitary ware.
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures, appliances, and pipework in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Provide support to general maintenance activities as required, including minor carpentry, decorating, and small plaster repairs.
- Manage and prioritise work orders efficiently to ensure jobs are completed within agreed service levels.
- Accurately record details of completed works, materials used, and site activities.
- Carry out additional tasks as reasonably requested by management in line with the role.
- NVQ Level 2, City & Guilds in Plumbing, or an equivalent qualification.
- Valid CSCS or JIB card.
- G3 Unvented Hot Water Systems qualification - essential.
- Experience with domestic unvented cylinder installation and commissioning.
- Understanding of Building Regulations Part G3.
- Proven experience in plumbing repairs and maintenance.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems relevant to plumbing works.
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
- 24 days annual leave plus public holidays.
