Campus Maintenance Technician

The Campus Maintenance Technician will maintain, install, and refurbish fabric and equipment across the GEDU Global Education UK estate portfolio. The role involves monitoring building conditions, undertaking repairs and renovations, supporting refurbishment projects, and traveling to other campuses as required. The position demands flexible working to accommodate business operations and work a 40‑hour week, covering campus operating hours from Monday to Sunday, 7:00 am to 9:30 pm, with occasional out‑of‑hours work as needed.
Responsibilities- Preventative and Reactive Maintenance of building and equipment
- Health, Safety, and Compliance with COSHH and environmental regulations
- Documentation and inventory management of maintenance activities
- Refurbishment and fit‑out projects across campus sites
- Travel to other UK campuses and maintain flexible working hours
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- City & Guilds Level 2 or Level 3 in Electrical Installations, or equivalent NVQ, or demonstrable experience to the same standard
- Previous experience in building maintenance including M&E systems
- Manual skills, knowledge of refurbishment techniques, and a proactive “can‑do” attitude
- Familiarity with COSHH requirements for equipment and chemicals
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a wider facilities team
- Full, Clean driving licence
- 25 days annual leave plus 8 public holidays
