Electrician

Equans is looking for an Electrician to join our team in Leeds on a permanent basis. This full‑time role involves carrying out repairs and maintenance work on the homes and properties serviced by the Company.

• Carry out all types of repairs and maintenance work in a multi‑skilled environment allied to the Electrical trade discipline
• Completion of repairs and maintenance in other trade disciplines where deemed competent to complete these
• Attend repairs and maintenance appointments on time and complete works on the first occasion, within target times
• Diagnose necessary remedial works, make appointments/arrangements and organise materials required
• Removal or make arrangements for removal of waste/debris on a daily basis and upon completion of any works
• Effectively and proactively assist in supporting the team to achieve KPI's
• Participate where appropriate in the company’s out‑of‑hours emergency repairs and maintenance rota
• Mentor and assist trainees, apprentices and other employees as and when required

• City and Guild (Electrical) or equivalent experience (essential)
• City & Guilds (Electrical) Inspection & Test or equivalent experience (essential)
• Relevant electrical qualification for repair, installation and maintenance of electrical systems (essential)
• Full UK driving licence
