Acorn Education and Care, are recruiting Senior Children Care Workers to join our teams within the South West region. Our registered independent homes offer residential care for vulnerable children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Complex Needs.
The homes are based in the South West region, and are within commutable distance from Cornwall, Truro, Illogan, Frome, Warminster, Bristol and surrounds.
Who we are looking for:- Level 4 Apprenticeship for Children Young People and Families Practitioner, or NVQ equivalent.
- At least 1 year’s hands on experience in a similar residential environment.
- People with a big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives
- Understanding that the people we care for can be challenging
- Be patient, resilient and calming
- Willingness to learn about the children and young people we support, and how to support them to reach their full potential
- Funded qualifications
- Annual Leave Entitlement equivalent to 5.6 weeks per year (with options to purchase more)
