Location: Carers Leeds supports hybrid working arrangements, in the Carers Leeds office, community locations, and from home.

Our Carers Support Workers help carers to access the resources they need to carry out their caring role; to mitigate the negative impact of caring; to enjoy life beyond their caring role and to have good health and wellbeing, social connections and financial security.

• Provide information and guidance via our Support Line
• Offer 1:1 support for carers via webchat, phone, video, in the home or at local community venues
• Facilitate carers support group/s
• Support carers to understand the eligibility criteria, evidence requirements and claims processes for relevant disability and carer benefits.
• Assistcarers to completewelfare benefitclaim formsto a high standard, ensuring applications accurately reflect their needs and circumstances.

This post is subject to a satisfactory a DBS check.

• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata for part-time)
