Overview

Java Developer needed for a permanent career opportunity based in Leeds (Hybrid). Start ideally Feb/March 2026.

Hybrid Working - 2 days/week remote (WFH), and 3 days/week working on-site from the Leeds office.

A chance to work with a leading global IT transformation business specialising in delivering large-scale Government digital modernisation projects.

• Java Developer with strong front- and back-end development skills and experience of AWS Cloud environments.
• Design, develop and implement robust and secure Java software solutions using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Work with AWS Cloud Services including: S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Athena, Glue, Dynamo
  
  DB, Open Search, Cloud Formation, API Gateway, ECS, Cloud Watch.

• Experience in Core Java, Spring Boot; AWS Cloud Services;
  Kotlin, Angular
  
  JS, Jenkins, NodeJS, SQL/No
  
  SQL databases, Dynamo
  
  DB, Git Hub, CI/CD, Dev Ops,
• Advantageous: understanding of Dev Ops/Dev Sec Ops  concepts, Docker, Containerisation, AWS Associate Developer accreditation.

Salary to £70k-75k (DOE) + Hybrid + 10% Bonus + Pension + 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays rising to 25 days + Death in Service + Health Care Plan + More.
