Senior Software Engineer - Java/Springboot

Salary range of £60,000 - £70,000 & £4,000 bonus.

The role will be mostly remote with occasional office travel to client sites (likely 1-2 times per month) to London, Manchester, Newcastle, or Glasgow. You may choose the nearest location.

As a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer
, you’ll work on complex, high-visibility projects—building modern, scalable digital products that drive real business change. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and gain exposure to a wide variety of technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin, Node.js, React, microservices, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

• 5 years commercial software engineering experience
• Strong experience building microservices with Java (Spring Boot)
• Solid experience with Git and platforms like Git Hub/Git Lab
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Compose
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Jenkins)
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments
• Comfortable working within an agile delivery environment
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
• Experience with No

• Understanding of web standards, accessibility, and engineering best practices
