Job Title: Senior .Net Software Engineer
Location: Hybrid - 1 - 2 days per month in London
Salary: Up to £90K + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and experienced Senior Software Engineer to make a meaningful impact in a fast-growing, technology-led company based in central London. Software Engineer Responsibilities- Design and deliver scalable, maintainable, and robust software solutions aligned with engineering best practices
- Collaborate closely with your team and stakeholders to solve complex technical problems
- Review code and provide constructive feedback to support clean, efficient, and reliable software delivery
- Actively participate in removing technical blockers to help your team deliver at pace
- Analyse requirements and dependencies, estimating effort and risk where necessary
- Write high-quality code using C# and .NET 8, supported by thorough unit testing
- Ensure high standards of observability, operational excellence, and software performance
- Engage in continuous improvement by evaluating new tools, technologies, and methodologies
- Contribute to knowledge sharing across teams and support preparation of releases
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong technical background with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in C#, .NET 8/9 and object-oriented design principles
- Experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs with tools like Redis, Kafka, and MySQL
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and orchestration
- Experience working with Git, versioning practices, and CI/CD workflows
- Strong unit testing and mocking skills for maintaining code quality
