Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

Job Title: Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Type Script, React, Node.js, AWS)
Location: Leeds (2 days per week on-site)
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + benefits

The organisation is evolving from a legacy PHP platform to a modern, cloud-native, AI-enabled architecture, offering the chance to shape greenfield systems and influence engineering direction.

• Design and build scalable full-stack applications using Type Script, Node.js, and React
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS (EKS, S3, DynamoDB) using Terraform (IaC)
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions) to enable efficient delivery
• Contribute to AI-enabled software development, including AI-assisted coding, testing, and feature delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-focused products
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, promoting best practices and engineering excellence

• Strong commercial experience in full-stack development with Type Script, Node.js, and React
• Experience working with or migrating from legacy PHP systems would be ideal
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred)
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to or strong interest in AI/ML integration or AI-assisted development workflows
• Ability to mentor others and contribute to a high-performing engineering culture
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, adaptable mindset
