Job Title: SC Cleared .NET Developer

Leeds/Hybrid (1x day per week)
Day Rate:
Competitive rate - Outside IR35
Duration: 3 months - Strong chance of extension

This is a great opportunity for an experienced, SC cleared, .NET Full Stack Developer to play a key role in delivering critical software solutions within a secure environment. You'll be joining a growing engineering team on a programme with significant follow-on work already identified, offering strong extension potential.

This role offers more than just hands‑on development. You'll have the opportunity to help shape engineering best practices, support team development, and contribute to improving ways of working within an evolving technical environment.

• MUST have active SC clearance or higher
• Proactive and collaborative by nature
• Comfortable working onsite in Leeds 1 day per week

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using C#, .NET, and React
• Develop new functionality using modern .NET technologies, primarily .NET 8/9
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders
• Support and occasionally maintain legacy  applications where required
• Contribute to technical discussions, engineering best practices, and ways of working
• Support and mentor team members within a developing engineering function
• Take a consultative approach when engaging with stakeholders and delivery teams

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET (preferably .NET 8/9)
• Proven experience developing modern front-end applications using React
• Experience working within on‑premise environments
• Exposure to legacy  codebases
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices
• Experience working closely with QA teams and supporting quality‑driven delivery
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working in environments where processes and structures are still evolving
