Location: Leeds

Role OverviewAs a member of our Software & Platform Engineering team, you will:
- Develop traditional and serverless applications and services in an agile, collaborative environment using source control, integrating with data storage services, message buses, and other architectural elements.
- Deploy these applications to the cloud using containers, leveraging CI/CD pipelines and ensuring strong production observability.
- Ensure quality through documentation and unit/integration/contract testing, considering security and performance requirements.
- Design, develop, and implement cutting‑edge digital applications across various industries.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create innovative and effective solutions.
- Use modern deployment methods such as containers and cloud services with CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure high‑quality outcomes via comprehensive testing and documentation, factoring in security, accessibility, and performance.
- Experience with Java, Typescript, C#, Python, or Go.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Native technologies.
- Hands‑on scripting skills (Python, Shell, etc.) to support Dev Ops and quality engineering.
- Experience with build automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with GenAI or personal GenAI projects.
- Strong knowledge of accessibility, security, performance, and caching best practices.
- Creative and analytical problem‑solving approach.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration in diverse teams.
- Experience shaping and delivering work across small to medium‑sized projects.
- Experience in Financial Services.
