Location: Leeds

Salary: Competitive salary and package (Depending on level of experience)

As a member of our Software & Platform Engineering team, you will:

• Develop traditional and serverless applications and services in an agile, collaborative environment using source control, integrating with data storage services, message buses, and other architectural elements.
• Deploy these applications to the cloud using containers, leveraging CI/CD pipelines and ensuring strong production observability.
• Ensure quality through documentation and unit/integration/contract testing, considering security and performance requirements.

• Design, develop, and implement cutting‑edge digital applications across various industries.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create innovative and effective solutions.
• Use modern deployment methods such as containers and cloud services with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure high‑quality outcomes via comprehensive testing and documentation, factoring in security, accessibility, and performance.

• Experience with Java, Typescript, C#, Python, or Go.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Native technologies.
• Hands‑on scripting skills (Python, Shell, etc.) to support Dev Ops and quality engineering.
• Experience with build automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with GenAI or personal GenAI projects.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility, security, performance, and caching best practices.

• Creative and analytical problem‑solving approach.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in diverse teams.
• Experience shaping and delivering work across small to medium‑sized projects.
• Experience in Financial Services.
