Principal Automation Test Specialist

Salary: £33,000 - 65,000 per year

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and C#/.NET
• Proven ability to build and maintain automation frameworks
• Experience integrating automated testing into Azure Dev Ops
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Strong understanding of test automation principles and Agile delivery
• Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform testing experience is desirable
• Financial Services experience is desirable
• Knowledge of AI-driven automation testing approaches is desirable

• Design, build and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and C#
• Create robust regression, smoke and end-to-end test suites
• Integrate automation into Azure Dev Ops pipelines
• Support quality throughout the SDLC within Agile delivery teams
• Drive automation best practice, framework scalability and test reliability
• Influence testing strategy and help shape a growing QA function

We are building a greenfield test automation function and offering a rare opportunity to take ownership of our automation strategy from the ground up. We work across a modern Microsoft technology estate, including Dynamics 365, Power Platform applications and key business-critical integrations. You will help shape frameworks, standards and best practice, embedding automation into CI/CD pipelines and influencing testing strategy across the organisation.
