Sporting Memories, a charity and social enterprise operating community clubs across Great Britain, focuses on sporting reminiscence and inclusive physical activity for older people. The role of Community Club Co‑ordinator supports the expansion of Clubs and sessions in Leeds, held in local leisure centres and care settings.

The position involves:

• Facilitating inclusive group activities for older people that are physically and mentally stimulating, including games combined with sporting reminiscence.
• Connecting with local referral and volunteer organisations to recruit volunteers and facilitate beneficiary referrals into Clubs and sessions.
• Running fully accessible and inclusive group sessions that are fun, physically and mentally stimulating, and include games and sporting reminiscence.
• Providing support to Club members and volunteers throughout their wellbeing journey.
• Collaborating with community partners within the Sporting Memories Leeds funded project – Hamara, Active Leeds, Burmantofts Community Friends, Maecare and Leeds City Council venues.
