Job Overview

We are currently recruiting a dependable HGV Class 2 (Category

C) Driver to join our logistics operation based in Leeds. The role involves multi-drop and/or scheduled deliveries to customer sites and distribution centres, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.

• Safely operate HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) vehicles
• Complete multi-drop and planned delivery routes
• Load and unload goods where required (using manual handling or equipment)
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries and collections
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Secure loads in line with safety and compliance regulations
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately
• Comply with tachograph, Working Time Directive, and driver hours rules
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with customers
• Keep vehicles clean and roadworthy

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital tachograph card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred (but not essential)
• Good knowledge of local and regional road networks
• Strong awareness of transport safety and compliance
• Physically fit for manual handling where required
• Flexible approach to working hours, including early starts
