With the latest vehicles on the market, this gives you the best HGV experience and a top‑range vehicle to work with! Staffline is recruiting HGV Shunter Driver in Sherburn in Elmet. The rates of pay including holiday pay are £14.79 - £15.81 per hour.

This is a full‑time role working 3 on 3 off, days and nights available.

• Move and position vehicles safely within the yard and/or depot.
• Couple and uncouple.
• Communicate with drivers and other staff members to ensure movements are carried out safely.
• Check for and report any damages on the vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and report defects correctly. Applicants will comply with on‑site health and safety requirements and understand and be able to comply with driver’s hours and WTD legislation. You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points, no DD/DR Code convictions.
