HGV Driver Trainer

Must be flexible and be willing to work both days and night in line with business needs 47.5 hours, fixed week or 6 on 2 off. We're looking for a dedicated HGV Driver Trainer to support and develop our LGV drivers across the business.

• Deliver engaging driver training and development
• Support DCPC training and new driver inductions
• Promote safe and fuel‑efficient driving
• Carry out driver assessments and post‑incident training
• Help improve driver performance using KPIs and telematics
• Work closely with Transport and Compliance teams to ensure best practice
• Strong communicator with hands‑on driver training experience
• Confident delivering both practical and classroom‑based training
• Excellent knowledge of EU and RTWTD regulations
• Experience using digital tachographs and compliance systems
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an LGV C+E driver

• LGV C+E licence
• Driver CPC
• Experience delivering driver training

• NRI (RTITB) DCPC qualification
• IOSH or First Aid
• Experience with telematics (Connexus/Tachomaster)
