An established international logistics organisation is seeking an experienced Customs Brokerage Associate to join a high-performing customs and freight team in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for a customs professional with strong Cargo

Wise1 (CW1) experience who is looking to develop their career within a stable, forward‑thinking environment.

As a Customs Brokerage Associate, you will play a key role in managing import and export customs processes, ensuring compliance with regulations while delivering outstanding service to clients and internal stakeholders.

• Managing customs entries and clearance processes from start to finish
• Interpreting and applying import/export legislation and regulations
• Liaising with customers, freight teams and external authorities
• Identifying opportunities to support client growth and operational efficiency
• Delivering accurate, timely and compliant customs documentation

You will be an experienced customs professional with a strong technical foundation and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a customs clearance role
• Strong knowledge of UK import/export procedures and regulations
• Cargo
  
  Wise1 experience (Certified Operator/Specialist highly desirable)
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and quality
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail and team‑focused approach

• Analytical and technically minded
• Confident decision‑maker within your area of expertise
• Comfortable working within established systems and processes
• Collaborative, adaptable and solutions‑focused

• Office‑based for the initial 3–6 months during training and onboarding
• Hybrid working model thereafter (60/40 split)
• Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week (some flexibility required to meet operational needs)

• £30,000 – £35,000 per annum
