About The Role

• Vehicle Operation:
  Safely and efficiently operate HGV Class 2 skip and RoRo vehicles.
• Site Deliveries:
  Deliver, exchange, and collect containers across various customer sites.
• Compliance & Tech:
  Complete daily vehicle checks, report defects promptly, and use handheld/tablet-based systems for job and vehicle records.
• Safety First:
  Work safely at all times, strictly following site, transport, and road regulations.
• Customer Service:
  Provide a professional, helpful, and friendly service to customers on-site.
• Teamwork:
  Support the wider transport and depot team as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

• A valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence with an up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous experience driving skips, RoRo, hook loaders, or similar vehicles is highly preferred.
• A solid understanding of driver compliance, vehicle safety, and daily defect checks.
• A reliable, professional approach with uncompromising safety standards.
• Good communication skills and a practical, customer‑focused attitude.
• Flexibility to support operational needs, including varied shifts where required.

• Basic Hourly Rate: £16.50 per hour
• Overtime Rate: £24.75 per hour (Paid at 1.5x after 45 hours)

  45 hours per week
• Weekly Earnings: £816.75 (Based on a 48‑hour worked week: 45 hours basic + 3 hours overtime)
• Minimum Expected Annual Salary: £42,471
