Job Title: Porter / Drivers Mate

Location: Leeds (Sherburn)

Pay Rate: £13.09 to £19.64 p/h

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday (06:00 - 07:00 start times)

Experience: Previous experience preferred

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for Porter / Drivers Mates in Leeds (Sherburn) to work with our client, who is one of the UK's DIY brands.

• Assisting with the safe loading and unloading of goods and customer orders
• Supporting drivers with deliveries and collections as required
• Moving stock and materials between departments using appropriate equipment where necessary
• Assisting with the preparation and checking of orders prior to dispatch
• Ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage
• Supporting the warehouse and store operation with general duties
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment at all times
• Assisting with the safe disposal of packaging and waste in the correct locations
• Following all site procedures relating to health & safety and manual handling
• Providing a professional and courteous service when interacting with customers and colleagues
• Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested by the site management team

We are looking for people with previous experience in this type of role, and you will be able to lift heavy items and get in and out of an HGV easily.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
