We’re hiring a HGV Class 1 Driver (Tramper) to join our growing team. The role is general haulage, delivering a variety of loads including palletised goods, ambient food products, timber and paper. Full training on specific load types can be provided where required.

Monday‑Saturday, including nights out. Night‑out allowance: £26.20 (tax free). Flexibility required.

• Safely operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle
• Deliver and collect goods according to planned routes and schedules
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
• Ensure loads are secure and transported safely
• Complete delivery paperwork and digital records accurately
• Comply with EU/UK drivers’ hours, tachograph, and Working Time Directive rules
• Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle
• Communicate effectively with transport planners, customers, and depot staff

• Full UK Driving Licence with C+E entitlement
• Digital tachograph card
• Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
• Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday, including nights out
• No more than 6 penalty points (certain endorsements not accepted, e.g. DR)
• Minimum age of 22 (insurance requirements)
• Ideally at least 3 months’ Class 1 driving experience
