Class 1 Driver

About this Role

Are you a Class 1 Driver looking for a new role, or an experienced HGV Driver ready for a fresh challenge? This Class 1 Driver opportunity with Dawsongroup Truck and Trailer offers variety, independence and the chance to represent a business that has been supporting customers with smarter asset strategies for over 50 years in asset rental.

• Deliver and collect vehicles between customer sites, workshops and Dawsongroup locations.
• Present vehicles for MOTs and support the efficient movement of fleet assets.
• Complete vehicle checks and report defects, incidents or concerns promptly.
• Assist with vehicle cleaning, check in and check out processes, and general operational support.
• Help maintain a safe, secure and organised branch environment.

You take pride in your work, enjoy being on the road and understand the importance of delivering a professional customer experience.

• Hold a valid UK LGV/HGV Class 1 driving licence.
• Hold a valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC).
• Understand the importance of road safety, compliance and vehicle care.
• Comfortable completing basic paperwork and vehicle records.
• Friendly, reliable and professional when dealing with customers and colleagues.
