Pertemps Sheffield is recruiting an HGV Class1 Container Driver (Ad Hoc) – Leeds for part‑time, temporary work with flexible hours. This role offers £17.00 per hour with weekly pay on day shifts.

The Role

Driving HGV Class1 (CE) vehicles transporting containers
Collecting and delivering containers to ports, depots, and customer sites
Completing vehicle checks and ensuring all paperwork is accurate
Adhering to driver hours, WTD regulations, and road transport legislation
Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely

Requirements

Valid HGV Class1 (CE) licence
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous container driving experience desirable but not essential
Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, IN or CD endorsements)
Reliable, professional, and safety‑conscious approach to work
